Curse of Chucky definitely lives up to its hype. He's back. He's meaner than ever. And he has unfinished business.

Chucky (as we all know as Charles Lee Ray) finds his way to Nica. Her niece, Alice, finds the doll and instantly takes a liking to him, and he becomes her best friend. When strange things start to happen, Nica suspects Chucky, who then pursues his bloody rampage. 

Everything about this movie is superb. The directing, the acting, the plot, the story. It all makes for a great film. The great thing about this movie is you get a glimpse back in time, and a deeper story on how Charles Lee Ray became Chucky, and the reason for his madness. 

Chucky's Timeline

Let's take a stroll back in time, if you will.

Child's Play (1988)

So, this is where it all starts. We learn about Charles Lee Ray, a serial killer, who's soul was transferred into a Good Guy doll after being shot by Detective Norris. He finds his way to Andy and uses him to make his revenge. 

Child's Play 2 (1990)

Chucky is back in this sequel, and he has unfinished business with Andy, who is now with a new family, Joanne and Phil Simpson, and their foster daughter, Kyle. They take Andy in, despite his troubled past. Chucky finds his way to Andy with intent to finish what he started. 

Child's Play 3 (1991)

Andy is all grown up and enrolled in military school. Chucky makes his way to Andy, but is delayed when Tyler gets ahold of the package first. Chucky uses the boy to his advantage to pursue his conquest. 

Bride of Chucky (1998)

Chucky is brought back to life by Tiffany, who is a big fan and secret admirer of him. She brings him back with the intent on being in a relationship with him, but when he doesn't pursue her advances, she locks him up. Chucky kills Tiffany, and her soul is transferred into a doll. The two of them go on a quest to retrieve the amulet they need to become humans again, while wrecking havoc in the process.

Seed of Chucky (2004)

Chucky and Tiffany are back in this fifth sequel. They are brought back by Glen/Glenda, who, to their surprise, is their son/daughter. Chucky tries to steer him/her down a path of murder while Tiffany tries to steer him/her down a brighter path.

Curse of Chucky (2013)

And now we make to this new sixth installment in the series, where Chucky visits a new family. However, this family is not so new. Time to unveil these skeletons as Chucky exacts his revenge, his intent to destroy.

Curse of Chucky definitely delivers and does not disappoint. Well worth the time and money. Check it out.
