The 13 Horrors of Christmas

"We wish you a spooky Christmas, we wish you a spooky Christmas, we wish you a spooky Christmas, and a scary New Year!"

So, here we are in the jolly holidays! Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, all in these few months! Yes, we give thanks, stuff our tummies, and shower our loved ones with gifts. But let's not forget the downtime!

Here, I give you the top horror movies for the holidays!

"On the first day of Christmas the creeper gave to me...."

Gremlins
You just can't go without watching this film. The cutest a little furnall ever, Gizmo becomes the family pet of a very nice family. However, once the rules are broken, the peace is ruined.

"On the second day of Christmas the creeper gave to me....."

The Nightmare Before Christmas
Another holiday must-have! This animated film by Tim Burton is so adorable. Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King and King of Halloweentown, finds Christmastown and is indulged in its wonders.

"On the third day of Christmas the creeper gave to me...."

Black Christmas
So....now that we've got the cute movies out of the way to jump start our holiday fright, let's take a stroll to the darker side. The dark side of the dark side. Starting with Black Christmas. A psychopath escapes his madhouse to pay his childhood home a visit. Only to find it overrun with sorority sisters. Oh, there will be hell to pay.

"On the fourth day of Christmas the creeper gave to me...."

Silent Night
Hey! I thought Santa was supposed to be good! Well...not this Santa, folks. This Santa is bad. Very bad. And the police is dead on his trail.

On the fifth day of Christmas the creeper gave to me...."

Silent Night, Deadly Night
What the heck is going on? Santa is usually the one checking the list to see who's naughty or nice! Now, it appears as though the roles have changed. Well, this poor guy has nothing but vengeance on his mind...and he's picking off all who are naughty...and nice.

"On the sixth day of Christmas the creeper gave to me...."

Silent Night Zombie Night
First Santa, now zombies. What's next??? The citizens of Los Angeles become the citizens of the dead. And what better time to become the undead than the holidays?

"On the seventh day of Christmas the creeper gave to me....."

To All a Goodnight
To all a good night, hunh? Notice the lack of the space in "Goodnight"? That means this movie is not wishing you a good night at all. And...another murderous Santa??? Man, Santa is giving Christmas a bad name.

"On the eighth day of Christmas the creeper gave me....."

Silent Night, Bloody Night
I thought the song went "Silent night, holy night, all is calm, all is bright". On the contrary, folks, all is not so calm or bright in this film.

"On the ninth day of Christmas the creeper gave to me....."

Jack Frost
No....I'm not talking about Michael Keaton, the happy snowman. I'm talking about Scott MacDonald the killer snowman.

"On the tenth day of Christmas the creeper gave to me...."

Santa's Slay
That's right guys. Santa has a slay. And I'm sure you can tell it's not the sleigh he rides on. Well, this Santa is actually a demon. When he loses a bet with an Angel he becomes jollly ole' Saint Nick. But as soon as the deal is done he goes back to being evil Saint Nick.

"On the eleventh day of Christmas the creeper gave to me...."

Sint (Saint)
Evil Santas....Killer Snowmen...Now crazy Saints. Well Christmas....I think we've seen it all. You're not so joyful after all, are you? A bishop who kidnaps and murder children??? Tisk, tisk, tisk.

"On the twelfth day of Christmas the creeper gave to me....."

Christmas Evil
All these psycho Santas. It's starting to make me think differently about Christmas. The first "Santa" that comes on my roof will be knocked down by my 9mm. And all your reindeer too.

"On the thirteenth day of Christmas the creeper gave to me....."

Feeders 2: Slay Bells
What the heck is a "Feeder"? By the looks of this image he looks like a deformed gingerbread man. Oh no! Even the gingerbread man has gone insane! There's nothing left!!! Christmas is officially dead! Oh....wait! It's actually just aliens! Rest easy people. You are now being invaded by aliens. And this time, Santa is the good guy!

There you have it. The 13 Horrors of Christmas. Enjoy!
